As of midnight on Friday, October 30, consumers can expect a shift in fuel prices with high-octane petrol set to decrease while liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and propane prices are on the rise. Starting Saturday, October 31, the cost of SuperPlus 98 petrol (E5) will fall by 3.7 cents to €1.899 per litre. Meanwhile, LPG will see an increase of 2.9 cents, reaching €0.972 per litre, and residential propane will climb to €0.953 per litre.
This update in fuel prices could bring slight relief to motorists using high-octane petrol, allowing them to benefit from reduced fuel costs. However, households and consumers relying on LPG and propane for heating and energy will face higher expenses.
The fuel prices effective on October 31 are detailed as follows: EuroSuper 95 (E10) is priced at €1.759 per litre, SuperPlus 98 (E5) at €1.899 per litre, and Diesel (B7) at €2.11 per litre. Additionally, heating fuel stands at €1.601 per litre. For bottled gas, bottled propane is priced at €2.459 per kilogram, and bottled butane at €2.262 per kilogram.
These changes reflect the dynamic nature of the fuel market, influenced by factors that often lead to fluctuations in prices. Consumers are advised to stay informed about such updates to better manage their household and transportation budgets.
