by admin477351

Starting from midnight on Wednesday, November 4, motorists and households in Luxembourg will experience a significant reduction in fuel costs. This adjustment is set to lower the financial burden on consumers as prices for petrol, diesel, and heating fuel are poised to drop.

The price of EuroSuper 95 petrol will see a decrease of 8.1 cents, bringing it down to €1.678 per litre. SuperPlus 98 petrol will also become more affordable, reducing by 6.4 cents to a new price of €1.835 per litre. Diesel users will benefit from a 7.1-cent cut, leading to a cost of €2.039 per litre. Additionally, heating fuel will drop by 7.2 cents, setting its price at €1.529 per litre.

Alongside these changes, other fuel products are also set to see price adjustments. The cost of LPG will be €0.972 per litre, while residential propane is priced at €0.953 per litre. For those using bottled fuels, propane will be €2.459 per kg, and butane will cost €2.262 per kg.

These reductions are expected to provide some financial relief to Luxembourg’s drivers and consumers who rely on fuel for transportation and household heating. With the approach of colder months, the timing of these price cuts is likely to be particularly welcomed by those facing increased heating demands.

The adjustments reflect Luxembourg’s ongoing efforts to manage fuel prices and support its residents amidst fluctuating energy costs. As these changes take effect from November 4, they mark a notable shift in costs that will be beneficial for consumers across the nation.
